Introduction/Mission -

The Outreach and Event Planning Committee promotes stakeholder awareness of Venice community issues and participation in Venice Neighborhood Council activities, organizes quarterly Stakeholder meetings and special events, and performs outreach to Stakeholders.

Meeting Time & Location:

Thank you for your interest in the Outreach Committee. Our diverse team typically meets monthly; however, our meeting days and times may vary due to our members' varied schedules. Please note that during winter holidays or when we are engaged in

large Outreach tabling events and Town Halls, we may not hold our monthly meeting.

February's meeting on Monday, February 17th, at 5:30 pm is at the Extra Space Storage Facility on Venice Blvd. in the Community Room.

We strive to offer meetings throughout Venice using a variety of spaces to including the Oakwood Recreation Community Center (Art's Room), the Abbot Kinney Venice Library and Penmar Park (Small Gym) in East Venice.

Please join us! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are interested in participating in our committee and attending our meetings. We hope to see you soon.

Outreach Application

Agenda Requests

The Outreach & Event Planning Committee conducts its business by reviewing and prioritizing agenda requests for Board action (generally either in the form of a motion or letter) or announcements submitted by stakeholders, governmental entities and other interested individuals and organizations. Outreach & Event Planning Committee Committee has the discretion to postpone a request, refer it to a specific committee for review and recommendation, treat it as an announcement or consider and resolve it as a non-Board administrative matter.
