Dear Friends:

I want to share with you an update on our mutual effort to win approval of overnight residential parking districts in Venice.

As you know, this has been a long and complicated effort, with lots of roadblocks. I am pleased to report that we are making progress. I have secured funding to help implement the districts, and convinced the responsible city agencies to address this aggressively.

First, a quick recap of where we have been: in response to requests from many constituents and after months of hard work from the Venice Neighborhood Council
