Venice Garden Tour 2007

The 12th annual Venice Garden and Home Tour will take place on Saturday May 5, 2007 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

This annual event is a self-guided walking tour of Venice homes and gardens. The 2007 tour is still in the planning stages, so more information will be posted here as it becomes available. The next tour will feature the intimate walk streets and Presidents Row, between Venice Boulevard and Coeur d'Alene Avenue, as well as several "satellite" homes and gardens of special interest along Venice Beach. We also hope to include selected "green" homes and gardens.

The tour was conceived by Venice landscape designer Jay Griffith and Venice community leaders Linda Lucks and Jan Brilliot as a fundraising event to benefit the Neighborhood Youth Association's Las Doradas Children's Center. NYA was founded in 1906 by the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles and has enhanced the lives of thousands of "at risk" children.

(corner of Broadway & Pleasantview, 1 block west of Lincoln Blvd)
When: Saturday, May 6, 2006, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (rain or shine!)

Parking: Free on-street parking is available, or pay $3 to park at Broadway Elementary School, entrance on Broadway between Lincoln and Pleasantview (all proceeds will benefit the school)

Tour-goers are advised to begin the tour before 2:00 PM in order to see all of the homes and gardens. To purchase tickets, please refer to our ticket information (tickets are non-refundable).
