About

The Venice Neighborhood Council was certified by the LA Department of Neighborhood Empowerment in March, 2002 and the original bylaws of the organization were approved and the area of representation defined. On March 29, 2006, the Board of Officers approved amended bylaws. These bylaws were ratified by Venice stakeholders on May 1, 2006 and approved by DONE :

A transition plan to the new bylaws was approved by the VNC Board on July 18, 2006 and submitted to DONE as an attachment to the VNC Bylaws file: RulesCommitteeReport_Transition_v3.pdf

More information about the VNC will soon be available on this page, but in the meantime, please contact us to learn how easy it is to participate and to have your voice be heard.
